Depop profit calculator — 0% seller fee + payment processing

Depop fashion resellers often assume zero commission means free selling. Real profit is what you keep after payment processing, optional Boosted Listings, shipping, and your sourcing cost.

Depop fee stack (US, 2026)

UK sellers pay 2.9% + £0.30 processing with 0% seller fee. International sellers outside US/UK may still pay 10% seller commission.

Profit formula

Net profit = Sale + buyer-paid shipping − COGS − processing fee − boost fee (if used) − your shipping cost

Processing fee = (sale + buyer-paid shipping) × 3.3% + $0.45 — the fixed $0.45 hurts low-ticket thrift flips more than mid-ticket vintage.

Example: $50 vintage item

$50 sale · $5 buyer-paid shipping · $18 COGS · $0 seller ship · $2.27 processing (3.3% of $55 + $0.45) → net ≈ $34.73 (63% of item price)

Same item at $20 with $0 shipping: processing ≈ $1.11 — still beats Poshmark's $2.95 flat on sub-$15 items, but the $0.45 fixed is 2.25% of a $20 sale before COGS.

When to upgrade from a calculator

At 500+ sales/month across Depop + Poshmark + Mercari, cross-listing tools (Vendoo, Nifty) sync fees automatically. Until then, fast what-if math prevents sourcing losers — and Margin Watchlist catches drift when you tweak prices or enable Boost.
